Park Etiquette and Safer Riding!

  1. Treat everyone with respect
  2. Judge the abilities of other riders and adapt how you use the park accordingly
  3. Please don't wax everything. Too much wax can make obstacles dangerous for people who know how to slide. Use sparingly on your own equipment and then ask someone about your technique
  4. Help discourage bullying and other antisocial behaviour. Talk to a skate park attendant about any problems or contact the relevant Leisure Centre
  5. Never ride in the wet weather
  6. Wear appropriate safety equipment
  7. Check your equipment before you ride
  8. Keep your valuables safe. Use the lockers provided. A padlock can be borrowed from the skate park attendant
  9. Help combat crime.  Report incidents to Crimestoppers FREE on 0800 555111
