Urban Verge Maintenance Schedule

Our policy is to cut urban grass verges 12 times annually.

Urban verges are cut to a height of 25mm approximately every 3 weeks during the growing season.

Due to the very wet ground conditions prevalent at the time, the programmed start date for grass verge cutting was put back by more than two weeks.

Cutting finally began on 8th March with our contractors being instructed to take as much time and care as they need to, to complete this first cut without causing any damage to the verges.

This being the case it may take slightly longer than normal to complete this first cutting cycle. All future cuts should then revert to the normal 15 working-day target.
