Streetcare Services

What we do

The Royal Borough is responsible for 750km of local roads, and the Council's Streetcare Team makes sure they are properly maintained and repaired.

Our responsibilities include:

Repairs and resurfacing of footways and roads
Maintaining street furniture
Gully maintenance
Overseeing utility company excavations
Removing graffiti
Street cleaning and litter collection
Emergencies such as floods and fallen trees
Obstructions on the highway
Public toilet cleaning
Car park cleaning
Litter and waste management
Removal of abandoned vehicles
