The Sports Bursary Scheme has been established to acknowledge young
sporting achievements and the contribution coaches make to their sport within
the borough. Bursaries are awarded to participants and coaches in all sports,
as recognised by Sport England. For further information please click on

posted to you.
RBWM Grants to Local Groups and Organisations (Sports Clubs Only)

Sportsmatch is the Government's grassroots sports sponsorship incentive scheme. Any not-for-profit group can apply to Sportsmatch, who can match £ for £ commercial business sponsorship for a grassroots sporting event or activity. Sportsmatch acts as an incentive by offering to double the pot of money available from your sponsor on a £ for £ matching basis. A Commander Collins Bursary is awarded to enable individuals or groups to enhance their knowledge in order to assist their club, organisation or community to develop their chosen sport. For further information please contact the Torch Trophy Trust on 0207 548 500.
Set up by the football pools promoters, this body has around £60 million annually to donate to support sports and arts organisations. Grants have been given to a wide range of projects that benefit community sport. For further information please contact the Foundation for Sport and the Arts on 0151 259 5505.

The Berkshire Community Foundation administer
the Local Network Fund for Children and Young People grants, that support
community-based projects which help children to undertake new experiences.
