Car Share to School
Car share promotion is often one of the first measures that a school will choose to implement as part of a school travel plan, as it can be a relatively simple way to reduce congestion.
Encouraging parents and pupils to participate in 'carsharing' really can reduce the number of cars travelling to and from school.
Promoting 'car share' to parents and pupils can be as straight forward as a letter home to parents, a display or information on a noticeboard in the school entrance and/or classrooms, home/class work for pupils which focuses on efficient use of the car.
