Child Safety Audit

As part of the process, local authorities are required to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the accident records so that details about location, severity, road user type, age and sex of child casualties can be identified that might influence the nature of remedial measures to be used.

The Local Transport Plan (LTP) process places a requirement on local authorities to carry out a child safety audit.
