The Milestones Statement
The Milestones Statement sets out the Council's priorities and targets for ensuring that the network is legally defined, properly maintained, and well publicised.
The Milestones Statement encourages partnership working with the community and is consistent with the guiding principles of the Community Strategy: working together, leaving no-one behind and involving people. 
The Milestones Statement also contributes to the 'getting about', 'healthy and caring', and 'a good place to live and work and visit' themes of the Community Strategy.
The Milestones Statement has been adapted to incorporate an annual update of the Public Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2005-2015.
