Design of Structures guidance note

This guidance note has been developed to accompany the application for authorisation to install a structure on a footpath or bridleway, and gives details of minimum design requirements etc. Please read this note before completing the form.

Application for authorisation to install a structure on a footpath or bridleway

Please use this form to request authorisation from the Council to erect a stile or gate, or carry out other works along a Public Footpath or Public Bridleway for preventing the egress or ingress of animals.
