The Procurement Strategy for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead reflects the outcomes of a Best Value Review of Procurement and the Council's Delivering Excellence programme. The Council spends over £83M per year on providing essential services to the visitors and those who work and live in the Borough.
The strategy sets out how the Council, working together with partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors, intends to set about improving its Procurement. The Council acknowledges that getting Procurement right is important. It is about improving the delivery and cost effectiveness of quality services to our citizens. The strategy recognises the potential of effective and innovative procurement to improve service delivery.
