Population Estimates by Ward

The Ward Populations estimates for the Royal Borough have been produced by both the Office of National Statistics (ONS) and the Berkshire Population Model. Information on how these datasets are calculated can be found on the Population Estimates web page.

The data from the 2001 Census can be compared to the ONS and Berkshire Population Model estimates. The ONS Ward Statistics are experimental and whilst the estimates are produced down to unit level, it is not implied that the estimates are accurate to this level of detail. The 2007 Berkshire Population Model estimates are intended to provide a comparison with the ONS estimates. The 2009 Berkshire Population Model estimates are the most up-to-date that the Council holds.
