Telecommunications SPD

The Telecommunications Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted on the 21st February 2008.  The purpose of the SPD is to outline detailed planning policy on telecommunications equipment such as masts for mobile telephones.  The SPD updates the previous policy provided by the Interpretation of Policy TEL1 (Telecommunications) Supplementary Planning Guidance (December 2000).

Under the provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, the SPD will form part of the Local Development Framework (LDF).  Please see the download menu for further information.
