Planning Policy Frequently Asked Questions

Within the Royal Borough, the boundaries of the Green Belt are defined in the Local Plan. To view the Proposals Map on line, it is necessary to click on the interactive RBWM Local Plan and Proposals Map - Planning Portal link. This will take you to the national system where you can search for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead or by place name. It is then possible to select the Green Belt on the interactive map.

Alternatively, the Local Plan is available to view at the Council's main offices and in all borough libraries. Copies may also be purchased from the Planning Policy unit.
