Housing and Employment Policies and Major Site Allocations

The Housing and Employment Policies and Major Site Allocations Development Plan Document (HEmpSA DPD) was originally proposed as part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) in 2005.  The HEmpSA DPD was progressed to an Issues and Options consultation in 2006 which can be downloaded below.  Since this time, the Council has revised the structure of the LDF and will not be pursuing the HEmpSA DPD in its original form.  Details of the amended LDF structure are provided on the LDF web page.  Site allocations will be incorporated into the Delivery and Development Principles DPD.

The HEmpSA DPD Issues and Options consultation document can be downloaded below.  It should be viewed only in the context of providing background information.  In time the site information contained within the document will be incorporated within the Council's Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA).  At this time details of the HEmpSA DPD will be removed from the website with all enquiries regarding site allocations directed towards the SHLAA.
