The Employment Land Review was published in April 2006. The study assesses existing employment land allocations, identifies market demand and advises on the suitability of existing sites to meet future economic growth. The study is consistent with current good practice and government advice set out in 'Planning Policy Statement 6: Planning for Town Centres'; 'Planning Policy Guidance 3: Housing' and the government note 'Employment Land Reviews'.
In October 2006, the study was updated with the publication of an Addendum Report. This extended the study time horizon up to 2026.
An Executive Summary of the Study is available to download below. Unfortunately due to the size of the final reports, it has not been possible to publish them in full to download. Those wishing to access to document in full may arrange to view it at the Council's receptions at the Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead and York House, Sheet Street, Windsor. Alternatively, copies of the studies can be purchased at a cost of £50 inclusive of postage and packaging.
