The Employment Land Review Update for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead was published in September 2009 and forms part of the evidence base for the Borough's Local Development Framework. The study has three main elements - a review of the local economy and its potential, an examination of future employment space needs up to the year 2026, and an assessment of potential sites for employment development. The study is consistent with current good practice and advice from central government and the South East England Partnership Board. It found that the Borough was an attractive location in which to do business, with a good range of employment sites available.
This study supersedes the Council's previous Employment Land Review which was published in 2006.
An Executive Summary of the Study is available to download below. Unfortunately due to the size of the final reports, it has not been possible to publish them in full to download. Those wishing to access the document in full may arrange to view it at the Council's reception at the Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead. Alternatively, hard copies of the studies can be purchased at a cost of £75 inclusive of postage and packaging, or on CD for the same price (please see the Planning Policy Publications Guide for payment details). Please note that an order for a CD can be fulfilled considerably more quickly than if a hard copy is requested.
