Community engagement is an important part of the Local Development Framework
system. The Council has established an electronic consultation
system which enables individuals to register on the consultation database,
make representations on consultation documents online and view all comments
which have been made.
The Council would encourage use of this electronic system, but will also make
paper copies of representation forms and representations received
available.
If you would like to receive notification of progress on the Local Development Framework, including information on documents published for consultation, please enter your details by clicking on the "Register" tab. You will receive an acknowledgement e-mail with your password which can be used to submit representations on documents during consultation periods. There is a facility to generate a new password if you do forget the original password. None of the information, apart from your name and any comments you make, will be made publicly available.
When a document is published for consultation it is possible to submit representations electronically and we would encourage consultees to make representations in this way. You will need to be registered first. If you have already registered on the system please use your username and password to log in to the system. To add a representation, navigate to the section of the document that you would like to comment on and click "Add Representation".
Representations received on consultation documents can be viewed on the system. To find the representations you are interested in:
Some representations have been summarised and have attached files which contain letters or longer representations. These are indicated at the bottom of the individual representation and can be reached by clicking on the file name.
To ensure efficient and effective community involvement, it is essential that the Council is notified of people who wish to be consulted and that their details remain up-to-date. While using the on-line consultation system allows people to actively keep their details accurate, you may also notify the Council directly by e-mailing Planning.Policy@rbwm.gov.uk or by writing to:
