Broadway/King Street/Queen Street Triangle Planning Brief

The Council has prepared a Draft Planning Brief in order to guide the redevelopment of this core area of Maidenhead Town Centre.  The Draft Brief, to be carried forward as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), sets out the planning policy context, the preferred land uses and key urban design principles for the site.  It also addresses a number of important issues relating to the delivery and implementation of development proposals.  Upon adoption the SPD will form part of the Local Development Framework (LDF).

The Council held a six-week period of consultation between 15th August and 26th September 2008.  Comments received on the Draft Planning Brief are currently being considered before the document is finalised and reported to a meeting of the Council's Cabinet in November 2008.  The Draft Planning Brief along with the Sustainability Appraisal and Consultation Statement can still be viewed below.

The Sustainability Appraisal Report for the SPD is based upon a Scoping Report published for consultation in summer 2007.  The Revised Scoping Report and Consultation Statement are still available to download below for information purposes only, and are not subject to consultation.
