Planning Services Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact the Customer Service Centre either in writing, email or by telephone, to request to view historic planning applications, stating the planning application number and full address.

Most of the recent planning applications can be viewed online on the Planning Public Access Module. If the application is more than 12 months old, you will need the planning application number to access the details.

Planning applications prior to 1996 will usually be held on microfiche and can be viewed in the Customer Service Centre reception, however, these should be booked in advance.

History record cards are also available showing planning applications made on properties in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. Again these will need to be booked in advance through the Customer Service Centre, or by using the online Property Researchers History Search request form.  Please note that this form is for pre-ordering of plotting sheets and history cards only.
