Planning Services Frequently Asked Questions

While it is permitted to erect small garden sheds, greenhouses and the like in a garden, large outbuildings may be classed as extensions to the property and will require planning permission. If you believe this building has been erected without permission then you may raise a case with our enforcement team to examine the building and determine if it is lawful. Subsequent action may then be taken.
