Planning investigations are often lengthy and complex, and staff resources are limited, it is therefore necessary for Council to prioritise its workload. The initial prioritisation of a complaint is based on the perceived effect of the breach of planning control i.e. the highest priority is accorded to the cases that represent the greatest degree of harm to the environment/heritage/amenity.
