"The Royal Borough - a place where everyone can thrive in a safe and healthy environment, take an active part in decision making and continue to learn and develop throughout their lives."
We all recognise that no one organisation alone can make wide reaching improvements to the economic, health, social and environmental well-being of the Royal Borough, and it is only by working together that we can make a real difference to the quality of life for everyone in the borough.
Local organisations, communities and businesses must work together to meet the challenges which a modern community faces.
To achieve this ambition we have a 'Community Partnership' (which are commonly referred to as 'Local Strategic Partnerships'). The Partnership is non-statutory and multi-agency, and matches the borough boundary.

Joint working at local level should ensure a greater chance of success in delivering sustainable economic, social and physical regeneration, and improved public services, that meet the needs of the local community.
To enable joint working the Partnership has signed a Local Area Agreement.
In working to achieve this vision the Partnership will be guided by four principles:
To progress these principles and deliver the overall aims five Ambition Groups have been established which are responsible for delivering the ambitions of the Partnership.
