Parking Visitor Voucher Permits

This is a form of scratchcard whereby a visitor of a resident may park in the Resident Permit Areas of Windsor / Eton, Datchet, Cookham, Ascot, Maidenhead & Bray. The Scratchcard is only valid in the Zone indicated.

We have recently changed the design of our Visitor Vouchers, the old ones are still valid until the expiry dates of the individual vouchers. Whilst the new vouchers are designed to do the same as before they differ in several ways. They will come with the Number of Hours and the Zone Pre-printed but there are more boxes to scratch off. You now need to scratch off : Day / Date / Month / Time of Arrival (in Hours and Minutes) and importantly if its AM or PM. The Registration Number also needs to be added in the box.

The new Vouchers have a couple of new features which have been requested to provide a better facility for the resident ie - No Expiry Date and also the ability to put a more accurate time of arrival thereby avoiding a nearly wasted hour.

There are 3 types of voucher available:

  • Standard - Allows up to 24 Hours parking
  • 6 Hour - Allows Up to 6 Hours parking
  • 2 Hour - Allows up to 2 Hours parking

Any resident of this area (see resident roads) irrespective of whether or not they have a Resident Permit or off-street parking may apply for these vouchers. With the use of a voucher you may park in any Resident Permit space for that ZONE which states Visitor Voucher parking for a maximum period of the voucher.

Vouchers cannot be used in areas which are solely Pay & Display parking. Vouchers also do not guarantee a parking space.

Allowance

Each property is allowed a maximum number of vouchers. The vouchers have no expiry date and may be kept until they are required, even if it is into a future year. If you do not request upto the maximum number of vouchers within a year, you cannot carry any unused allowance over to the next year. The year runs froms 1 April to 31 March.

  • 50 Standard Vouchers
  • 50 6 Hour Vouchers
  • 25 2 Hour Vouchers

Residents of Bridgewater Terrace or Park Street may apply for 100 of the Standard Vouchers in the same period. It is not possible to have extra Vouchers of 1 type to make up for less in another type.
