Temporary Resident Parking Permits

If you are in possession of a Temporary Car due to your vehicle being off the road for any reason or in the process of changing your vehicle on your existing resident permit, we are now able to provide a Temporary Resident Permit.

If you are in possession of a Hire vehicle due to your vehicle being off the road then a permit can be valid for a maximum of 1 Month depending upon the proofs provided.

If you are in the process of amending your existing resident permit due to a permanent change of vehicle then a temporary permit will be issued up to a maximum of 7 days.

You are required to complete the On-line form and either print the necessary documents or if you have access to a scanner or camera upload the proof documents (Copy of the Lease Agreement, Letter from the Garage, Letter from Insurance Company or proof of ownership). When these details are received we will e-mail or FAX a Temporary Permit to you, which you will need to display within your vehicle. These can also be requested in person at the Town Hall or York House Offices.
