Parking Permits Frequently Asked Questions

Resident's Permits Conditions:

  • Live in a listed "Resident Road" *(excluding Oak Lane)
  • Have no off-street parking or just one space, depending on which road
  • Entitlement is regardless of number of cars
  • Be able to provide proof of residency (less than three months old)
  • To be used only for cars
  • Must not already have a Dependant / Carer Permit or must surrender this.

It will be necessary to check the database to see if the address has been allocated a permit or permits and therefore what is available.

Dependant / Carer Permit Vouchers (free - up to two permits) Conditions:

  • Live in a listed "Resident Road"
  • Must not already have a Resident's Permit or must surrender this
  • Have no off-street parking or just one space
  • Proof of age/disability.

It will be necessary to check the database to see if the address has been allocated a permit or permits and therefore what is available.

Visitor Voucher Permits Windsor (two schemes), Eton, Maidenhead, Cookham High Street, Coutlands, Bray and Datchet only. 3 Time Bands - 2 Hours, 6 Hours and 24 Hours Conditions:

  • Live in one of the listed roads
  • 24 hour maximum stay
  • Applicant need not hold a Resident Permit or have no off-street parking

Contractor permits. Conditions:

  • Applicant must be a resident living in a "resident road" (applicant can write to Traffic Management to ask if road can be included in scheme)
  • Application must be in respect of work being done at applicant's main residence
  • Valid for two weeks. Extension accepted by phone provided details unchanged

Business Permits (Windsor & Datchet only) Conditions:

  • To have a business located in a listed road
  • Proof of Business Address required

Oak Lane Permits

  • Applicant must live in Oak Lane (currently there is a waiting list)
