Contractor / Builder Permits

Please note that 2 working days notice is required in order to issue a Contractor Permit.

The Borough may issue Contractor Permits for those residents who are having work done on their property. These permits are available in Windsor, Eton, Datchet, Ascot (Winkfield Road), Cookham High Street, Maidenhead, Bray and Courtlands. These permits have to be applied for by the property owner or resident and NOT by the contractor. The maximum number of permits that can be issued at any one time is two.

The property must be in a road listed as eligible for a resident permit. The permits are valid for a maximum of 7 days but can be renewed (by telephone if the vehicle details are the same), for a further period.

Application Procedure

Complete the Contractor Permit online form or obtain a hard copy from any council office.
