Contractor / Builder Permits

The borough issues Contractor Permits for those residents who are having work done on their property. These permits are available in Windsor, Eton, Datchet, Cookham High Street, Maidenhead, Bray and Courtlands. These permits have to be applied for by the property owner or resident and NOT by the contractor.  The maximum number of permits that can be issued at any one time is 2.

The property must be in a road listed as elibile for a resident permit.  The permits are valid for a maximum of 14 days but can be renewed (by telephone if the vehicle details are the same), for a further period.

Application Procedure

If you approach a Parking Officer whilst they are patrolling the streets they will be able to supply you with the relevant form.  If you complete this form and hand back to one of the Parking Officers they will arrange for the permit to be issued usually within 24 hours.  There is no charge for this type of permit.

Otherwise the application form can be returned to the address below, whereby a permit will be issued but you will need to allow 10 days for receipt.
