Parking - Car Parks Frequently Asked Questions

RBWM is responsible for 52 Car Parks within the Borough with spaces for approximately 7000 cars, as well as Residents Parking Schemes in some areas. Charges are levied in 23 of these and Season Tickets are available in ten.

We do not have responsibility for private Car Parks.

RBWM Parking Officers patrol Car Parks, On-street, Resident Permit Holder Bays, Disabled Badge Holder Bays and Loading Bays in Windsor, Eton and Datchet.

Contraventions in our car parks and on-street are issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.

We do not clamp vehicles under any circumstances but we cannot stop clamping in Private Car Parks.

The Council issues: Season Tickets for some car parks, Residents Permits, Carer/Dependant Permits, Visitor Vouchers for family and friends , Business Permits & Contractor Permits.
