There's still time to take advantage of the council's popular park and ride scheme operating from Centrica in Maidenhead Road.
The service taking shoppers and tourists direct to Peascod Street in the centre of Windsor has seen an increase in uptake throughout the summer and will continue to run for the next three weekends until early September.
Operating for its second summer season with no increase in charges, the popular service enables residents and visitors to enjoy a day in Windsor for as little as £2 in parking. The FREE bus service runs from 10am to 6pm with buses running every 15 minutes.
The service, operated by Courtney Coaches, will run on the following days:
• August 20, 21, 27, 28 and 29
• September 3 and 4.
Charges are via pay and display in the Centrica car park. A stay of up to four hours is £2.50 (£1 with Advantage Card). For stays longer than four hours the fee is £4 (£2 with Advantage Card).
The barrier to allow vehicles in is raised at 10am and lowered at 7pm, by which time all cars must be removed.
Cllr Phill Bicknell, Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Environment, said: "This is a particularly good deal for Royal Borough residents as they can use their Advantage Card to spend all day in Windsor for just £2.
"It also provides a cheaper alternative to town centre car parks for part-time workers and visitors to Windsor - and with several weekends left of the school summer holidays we expect town centre care parks to fill up quickly as people make the most of the late summer weather to enjoy Windsor.
"We would like to thank Centrica and their staff for supporting us and enabling us to offer the park and ride at their premises."
The car park is patrolled by the council's parking team while in use as a park and ride and community wardens also carry out courtesy visits.
