The Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Greenwood as pension fund manager to succeed Jack Johnson who retires in May of this year.
Nick is joining Berkshire from the Environment Agency where he has been investment manager for the last three years. He has been involved in both public and private sector pension fund management for over 25 years on both a fund management and consultancy basis.
Andrew Brooker, head of finance at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (the administering authority for the Berkshire Fund) said: "Nick has a depth of experience in both public and private sector pension fund management that we are sure will prove invaluable in assisting the Berkshire Fund meet its future challenges."
The Berkshire Fund is constituted under the Local Government Pension Scheme and has a total membership of approximately 38,000 with assets in excess of £1.4 billion.
