The Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service will benefit from the proceeds of this year's Mayor's Charity Dinner and Cllr Catherine Bursnall is hoping for a huge turn-out in support of this very worthy cause.
The black tie event is on Friday 11 March in the prestigious Old Windsor venue of The Chapel in the Beaumont Estate. Tickets have now gone on sale.
Cllr Bursnall said: "We aim to make the charity dinner one of the most memorable events in the Royal Borough's social calendar this year. We have a wonderful evening's entertainment in store and I hope that businesses, families, organisations and friends will join together to make up tables for what promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable occasion."
Renowned entertainer and local resident Laurie Holloway and his trio will provide the entertainment.
Tickets costing £70 each include a champagne reception, three-course meal with coffee and wine and entertainment. There will be an auction for valuable prizes donated by local and national businesses, borough residents and well-wishers.
There will also be a souvenir programme for which advertising space is now on sale.
Full details about tickets and advertising bookings are available from Alison Singleton, Mayor's Secretary, on 01628 796223 or email alison.singleton@rbwm.gov.uk
