Taking decision making into the community, the Royal Borough's 23 August cabinet meeting will be in Hurley Village Hall - and local residents and parish councillors are warmly invited to attend.
Throughout the year cabinet members meet in either Maidenhead or Windsor, with all meetings open to the public. However, once a year they move out into a local ward and this time it is the turn of Hurley and the Walthams.
Since the practice was started in 2008 there have been visits to Ascot Day Centre, Woodlands Park Village Centre, Cox Green Community Centre and Sunningdale Village Hall.
Cllr David Burbage, council leader and cabinet chairman, said: "Cabinet's annual community visit is part of the council's commitment to localism and transparency.
"We are determined that as much council business as humanly possible is conducted in the public arena and our community visits are part of this commitment. The door is open at all cabinet meetings but there is a particularly warm welcome for residents who come to see us this month at Hurley and the Walthams."
The meeting starts at 7.30pm and Hurley and the Walthams ward councillors Carwyn Cox, David Evans and Maureen Hunt are encouraging residents to make it a big turnout on the night.
Cabinet members will be discussing a range of items, including one that gives a quarterly overview of the council's performance. They will also be taking decisions on investment in leisure projects, a long-term strategy for reducing the council's energy use and new legislation that gives community groups, including parish councils, the right to bid to run council services either alone or with partner organisations.
