The Royal Borough's community wardens are reminding residents that there's still time to get snapping to enter their innovative photography competition.
The competition, called 'Show Me Your Community', invites residents to submit photos of what their area means to them in a bid to increase community pride.
Photographers of all ages and expertise are welcome to enter in either of two categories, under 18s or adults.
To qualify, photographs must be taken in the Royal Borough. Only digital photographs up to 10Mb can be accepted.
Entry forms and terms and conditions are available for downloading from the community safety website www.rbwmsafety4all.org.uk. Photographs should be emailed to wardens@rbwm.gov.uk. The closing date is Friday 16 September.
The winning and runner-up photos in each category and a selection of others chosen by the judges will be displayed in the Town Hall reception, Maidenhead library and Windsor library and the winning pictures will win an engraved glass trophy and certificate.
Cllr Phill Bicknell, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Community Safety, said: "We've had a good response so far but we are particularly keen to get more entries for the under 18s category. I'm sure residents of all ages have been enjoying the summer break and have some great holiday pictures of the borough they could submit.
"So get those entries in - not a moment to lose!"
