Winter weather update (including waste collection information)

The snow forecast for today (Wednesday) did not materalise so all council services are operating normally

Latest update: 2.45pm Wednesday 20 January 2010.

Gritting

Temperatures are forecast to stay above freezing so no gritting is expected to be needed over the next couple of days. We will continue to monitor the weather forecast regularly.

Details of primary and secondary gritting routes are available at www.rbwm.gov.uk/web/pe_winter_services.htm

Waste collections
Waste collections operating as normal.

The fortnightly green waste collections are back in operation this week (with the week 2 collection schedule). All of your green waste will be picked up - however, please ensure that any excess green waste outside your green bin is in open sacks.
