Registration - Frequently Asked Questions

Normally only RBWM postcodes will be stored and recognised automatically. However, for the Online School Admissions service, we have added postcodes from selected neighbouring authorities. This will help parents of primary-age children from these authorities, who must apply through the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead for primary school places.

If you live further away, your postcode will not be automatically recognised, but you can still add it manually by clicking the 'Enter Address' button.

Sometimes a postcode may not be recognised because it has not be added to our Local land and Property Gazeteer, e.g. if the address is in a new property development. Again in this case you can add it manually by clicking the 'Enter Address' button.
