Museum Frequently Asked Questions

The Royal Borough operates a Commemorative Plaque Scheme which involves the erection of plaques on walls of appropriate properties to recognise the fact that famous people of national significance and people of important local significance were born, lived or worked, for a significant period, in the Borough. They are also erected to commemorate the fact that something memorable happened or an event or incident of national significance or important local significance occurred at a particular site, or the existence of a local or national famous building or landmark.

For a copy of the guidelines produced to assist those people/organisations making suggestions for the erection of commemorative plaques or if you would like further details contact the Democratic Services Section on 01628 796319 or email: democratic.services@rbwm.gov.uk
