Museum Frequently Asked Questions
What if I've found something interesting digging in my back garden or walking locally?
You need to speak to the Finds Liaison Officer Kate Sutton who will be able to identify the object. She is based at West Berkshire Museum, but regularly visits Reading Museum. Please contact her directly on 01635 519534. She will then arrange an appointment for you to bring the object(s) with you to Reading Museum to be identified. This will usually be on a Thursday between 12pm and 4pm but you must phone in advance to arrange this. There is no charge for this service.
