Brief Ward Information
Clewer North is situated in West Windsor, in the eastern part of the Royal Borough. The ward is bordered by Buckinghamshire and Eton Wick Ward to the north, Bray Ward to the west, Castle Without Ward to the east and Clewer South and Clewer East Wards to the south. The River Thames forms the northern boundary.
In Clewer North, 48% of land is within the green belt and 56% of the land is in the flood plain. The ward consists of mainly residential areas with a number of large housing estates within its boundaries. There are five schools serving the local community, a small industrial estate, as well as two marinas, two garden centres and Royal Windsor Racecourse. The main road link between Windsor and Maidenhead runs through the ward, and the road marks the division between the residential areas to the south and the river and the racecourse to the north of the ward.
