Bisham & Cookham is the northern-most ward in the borough. To the south it borders Maidenhead Riverside, Furze Platt and Pinkneys Green, and to the west it borders Hurley. The ward borders Buckinghamshire to the north and east. In Bisham & Cookham 94% of land is within the green belt, 30% of the land is in the flood plain.
Bisham & Cookham is a mainly rural ward with the two villages making up the majority of the residential areas. The A404 Marlow by-pass divides Bisham from Cookham, and the railway line between Maidenhead and Bourne End runs through Cookham village. The northern and eastern boundary follows the path of the river Thames.
