Brief Ward Information

Belmont Ward is in Maidenhead, in the northern part of the Borough. It borders Furze Platt Ward to the north, Pinkneys Green Ward to the west, Boyn Hill and Oldfield Wards to the south and Maidenhead Riverside Ward to the east. The A4 Bath Road forms the southern boundary of the Ward.

In Belmont none of the land is in the greenbelt and none of the land is in the floodplain. The ward consists of mainly residential areas and there is little 'open space' in the ward, as housing takes up most of the land. There are two industrial areas: Cordwallis Road and St. Mark's Road, both made up of light industry and business units. St Mark's Hospital is situated within the Ward and the branch line between Maidenhead and Bourne End runs through the Ward.
