Local Members of Parliament

The House of Commons is made up of 659 Members of Parliament (MP), each representing one constituency. The size of the constituency varies but on average each MP will represent about 67,000 electorates. MPs represent the views of all thier constituents in Parliament, irrespective of whether they voted for them.
