Quarterly Grant Funding

Voluntary organisations may apply for grant funding to a maximum of £1,000 towards running costs, transport, administration, premises hire, one-off events, staffing costs and training under the Revenue or Kidwells grants criteria.

If you wish to apply for a grant in the current quarterly round, please download the Grants Application form, complete and return to the Grants Administrator at the address below, or alternatively the form can be obtained direct from the Grants Administrator who would also be happy to discuss any queries you have in relation to procedure or the grants scheme.

Quarterly Grants Timeline

Applications for Quarterly Grants received between 5 November 2011 and 27 January 2012 will be considered at a Grants Panel meeting on 16 February 2012.

RBWM Annual Grants

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead supports non-profit making voluntary organisations through its Annual Grant Funding Scheme.

There are several categories of funding covering running costs, equipment, transport, administration, premises hire, building projects, one-off events, staffing costs and training. Please see below for explanations of criteria and links to the relevant category's grant application form.

Applications for annual grant funding for 2012/13 are now available on this web page below and from Democratic Services. If you require information in relation to the Annual Grants Funding Scheme, please contact the Grants Administrator on 01628 796310 or email democratic.services@rbwm.gov.uk. Please note that the deadline for Annual Grants applications is Friday 25 November 2011.

Annual Grants Timeline

Applications for Annual Grants received between 12 September 2011 and 25 November 2011 will be considered at a Grants Panel meeting on 12 January 2012.

All payments for annual grants will be paid on 1 April 2012.

RBWM Revenue Grants

RBWM Revenue Grants are made towards an organisation's annual running expenses.

All applicants should complete the form in full and attach the following -

  • Constitution
  • Annual independent audited accounts for the last two financial years
  • A signed copy of the Declaration

RBWM Capital Grants

These Grants are made towards capital schemes i.e., the acquisition of land, the acquisition / construction / extension / improvement of building and/or the purchase of equipment to provide new or improved facilities. Grants will be considered for up to £25,000. Please note that capital projects can only be funded up to a maximum of 66 % of the total project cost. RBWM / Kidwells Park Trust Grants

RBWM / Kidwells Park Trust Grants are made under the Terms of Reference of the Kidwells Park Trust towards providing facilities for recreation, aimed particularly at increasing cultural activity and excluding items that would qualify for assistance under the Revenue and Capital grants schemes. Please read the Criteria prior to completing the form. (Please see above).

RBWM / '3' Community Grassroots Grant Fund

The aim of the RBWM / '3' Community Grassroots Fund is to provide grant funding to small voluntary and community groups and organisations in the Windsor and Maidenhead area, enabling them to continue or expand their work, including advocacy, community voice and service provision.

Any organisation operating within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and established for charitable purposes can apply, provided there is a formal structure which will allow for monitoring of activity. The Fund seeks applications primarily from groups working with young people. Examples include homework clubs, skills development and activities relating to the prevention of crime, counselling, mentoring or volunteering, youth clubs, arts, culture or the environment.
