I was appointed an LEA governor at Hilltop First School in November 2008. I look forward to learning about and serving the local community in this new capacity over the coming months.

I am involved in local casework and consultation about parking in Windsor.

I have been elected to chair the Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Panel; In 2009 we will be playing an active role in the review of local child protection services following my unanimously approved motion to Council in December 2008.

I have just been appointed to the Twinning Committee; fluent in French and German, I am looking forward to assisting with future links to all our twin towns across Europe.

In my role as cultural champion I shall be assisting with the development of the Borough's Cultural Heritage Strategy in 2009.
