PETITION:
We the undersigned would request that you consider our petition to reinstate a former official bus stop in Wraysbury village. Currently, the 60 bus from Slough to Heathrow Terminal 5 stops at the junior school in Wraysbury but there is no further stop for a considerable distance (until the Percival public house). This situation causes needless hardship to elderly residents of Wraysbury - particularly in bad weather - for many of these pensioners live in sheltered housing at Grange Close and The Green. The obvious solution to the problem would be to reinstate a former bus stop at or close to The George Inn.

Petitions Submitted in 2010/2011
PETITION:
We the undersigned, condemn the waste of money and the detrimental effect upon the environment, approved by the Windsor Development Panel on 15th April 2010, approving their own plans for an extension to the Park & Ride in Home Park (10/00131).
We call upon the whole council to overturn such approval as it will not help to deliver the necessary improvements to parking in Windsor with 80% of the traffic entering the car park from the Town Centre direction. The outcome of which is that the Park & Ride facility, becomes the last parking option rather that the first.
The Council should postpone any development of Park & Ride until such time as a full review of Park & Ride is completed as per PPG2: Green Belt, which is also compliant with its own Green Belt Policy Guide 3. Once that review is complete, fully costed options with an environmental assessment should be subject to public review.
