We the undersigned petition the Council or the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to use all its powers to stop development on land adjacent to Ockwells Manor in Cox Green in order to both preserve the setting of Ockwells Manor and to avoid overloading the present Cox Green infrastructure

PETITION:
We the undersigned ask that the standard used in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to decide when a surface defect, pothole, kerbside gully grating or manhole cover needs repair is changed to take into consideration the safety needs of cyclists, which are different to motorists, and that inspection engineers are trained in recognising defects that are hazardous to cyclists across the whole width of the road. We also ask that ALL repairs are flat, without undulations and flush with the road surface.

PETITION:
We the undersigned petition the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to recognise the achievement of a 14 year old local school girl in winning the competition for a permanent tribute to mark the Queen Diamond Jubilee in Windsor and request that the Council support this project, subject to planning, and give support to the working committee to implement the project, for completion by June 2012, and request that sufficient S106 monies earmarked for artistic contributions be set aside to ensure that this tribute is built.
