Minutes from Last Conference - To receive the Minutes from the last Conference held on 25 February 2009.

Public Speaking at Parish Conference - To consider the options for public speaking at Parish Conference

Update on the Local Development Framework - Peter Hitchen, the Borough's Planning Policy Manager, will be in attendance at the Conference to present on the Local Development Framework.

Community Payback - Joanna Godfrey, Placement Case Manager at Thames Valley Probation, will be present to provide information on the Community Payback scheme.

Local Transport Plan - Gordon Oliver, the Borough's Principal Transport Policy Officer will be present to address the Conference in relation to the Local Transport Plan.

Funding for Rural Communities - Tim Parry, Rural and Communities Services Manager at the Community Council for Berkshire, will be present to advise on funding opportunities for rural communities.

Parish Paths Initiative (pdf 23kb) - Anthony Hurst, the Royal Borough's Principal Rights of Way Officer, will present to the Conference on the Parish Paths Initiative.

Presentation at Next Conference - The Conference will no doubt recall that, at the Conference meeting in June 2007, it was agreed that there should be an opportunity for Parish and Town Councils to share their experiences and successes in relation to projects and schemes that they may be involved in. Hence, the Conference is invited to agree the presentation for the next Conference in October 2009.

Big Lunch - Harjit Hunjan, the Borough's Community and Business Partnerships Manager, will be present to notify Parish Councils of the 'Big Lunch' to be held on Sunday 19 July 2009.

Appendix

Parish Charter - To request those Parish councils who have not yet returned the signed Parish Charter to do so as soon as possible. All Charters will then be counter-signed by the Leader of the Council.
