Petitions - To consider the following petitions:

• For Improvement of the Footway at Norden Road Rail Bridge, Maidenhead (121Kb PDF): The footway is narrow and overcrowded at peak times, with queues and a risk of falling off the kerb. It is the only route for pedestrians from large estates to schools, shops, the station and Vanwall office complex. No significant improvements to the pavement in decades, yet pedestrians protected (by guard-rails or tunnel) at similar bridges towards Slough. Diversion of (the rare) very large lorries away from Norden Road underpass, for example, would enable the pavement to be widened and a guard-rail installed. (Appendix 294Kb)
