Minutes from Last Conference - To receive the Minutes from the last Conference held on 16 June 2008
Changes to Permitted Development Regulations - Graham Stallwood, the Borough's Development Control Manager will be present at the Conference to explain changes in the legislation in relation to what residents can do without planning permission.There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions
Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act - Kate Dagnall, the Borough's Environment Officer, will be present at the Conference to address the meeting in relation to the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act, which places certain duties on Parish Councils in relation to consideration of biodiversity initiatives.There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions
Road Resurfacing - Stephen Brown, the Borough's Head of Highways & Engineering, will be present at the Conference to address the meeting in relation to road resurfacing in the Borough, and communications relating to road surveys and resurfacing with relevant Parish Councils.There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.
Distraction Burglary - Brian Martin, the Royal Borough's Community Safety Co-ordinator, will be present at the Conference to address the meeting in relation to the Crime and Disorder Partnership's work regarding distraction burglaries and how Parish Councils can be involved.There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.
Parish Walks - The Chairman of the Parish Conference, Councillor Mrs Bateson will address the Conference in relation to Parish Walks.
Presentation at Next Conference - The Conference will no doubt recall that, at the Conference meeting in June 2008, it was agreed that Bray Parish Council be invited to present at the next Conference on its success with the Fifield and Oakley Green Community Plan. Bray Parish Council have requested that the item be deferred until the next meeting of the Conference in February 2009, to enable the results of a residents' survey, currently underway, to be included in their presentation.The Conference is therefore requested to note the deferral of this item.
