Election of Chairman
To elect a Chairman for the municipal year 2008/2009

Appointment of Vice-Chairmen
Two vice-chairmen are invited to be appointed; one from each of the authorities other than the Chairman's own authority.

Apologies for Absence/Substitute Members
To receive any apologies for absence and to note the attendance of any substitute Members

Declarations of Interest and party Whip
Members are asked to declare any personal or prejudicial interest and the nature of the interest, including the existence of the party whip, in respect of any matter to be considered at the meeting.

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meetings held on 10 January 2008 (PDF 81kb) and 20 March 2008 (PDF 65kb)

Terms of Reference (WORD 26kb)
The Joint Committee's terms of reference are attached. Paragraph 15 of these allows for the terms of reference to be kept under annual review. It is for the Joint Committee to consider whether it wishes to do so.

Update on Annual Healthcheck Process (PDF 246kb)
To note the Committee's final responses sent to the Berkshire East PCT and the Heatherwood & Wexham Park NHS Foundation Trust as part of the annual Healthcheck process.

Work programme
The Joint Committee is asked to identify items for consideration at future meetings. Suggested items identified are:-

• Annual Public Health Report
• Budgets
• Out of Hours Service
• Local Involvement Networks (LINKS)
• Tier 3 CAMHS Service Review - Update

Dates of Meetings for the remainder of the Municipal Year 2008/2009
To confirm the provisional dates and times for meetings of the Joint Committee for 2008/09:-

• 18 September 2008 at 2pm at Bracknell Forest Borough Council
• 17 December 2008 at 2pm at Slough Borough Council
• 19 March 2009 at 2pm at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead
