WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS

APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

MINUTES FROM LAST CONFERENCE - To receive the Minutes from the last Conference held on 28 February 2008

PARISH CONFERENCE CONSULTATION RESULTS - To consider the results of the recent consultation on the operation and future format of Parish Conference meetings (see below for report and appendix)

BERKSHIRE RURAL TOWNS AND VILLAGES PARTNERSHIP - Harjit Hunjan, the Royal Borough's Community and Business Partnerships Manager, and Tim Palmer, the County Co-ordinator for Berkshire Rural Towns, will be present at the Conference to address the meeting in relation to the Berkshire Rural Towns and Villages Partnership. There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.

NEIGHBOURHOOD ACTIONS GROUPS - Acting Superintendent Jim Templer will be present at the Conference to address the meeting in relation to progress on Neighbourhood Action Groups. There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.

PLANNING PORTAL - Tim Slaney, the Royal Borough's Head of Planning, will be present at the Conference to provide an update on the introduction of the planning portal. There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.

DESIGN STATEMENTS - Tim Slaney, the Royal Borough's Head of Planning, will provide an update on the Borough-wide Design Statement currently being prepared. There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.

PRESENTATION AT NEXT CONFERENCE - The Conference will no doubt recall that, at the Conference meeting in June 2007, it was agreed that there should be an opportunity for Parish and Town Councils to share their experiences and successes in relation to projects and schemes that they may be involved in. Hence the Conference is invited to agree the presentation for the next Conference in October 2008.
