ITEMS
- Presentation on Events in Windsor - To receive a presentation from Paul Roach (Town Manager, Windsor)
- Late Night Traffic Disturbance and Growing Effects of Night Time Economy - To respond to question submitted by Mr Lancastle.
- King Edward Court Carbon Monoxide & Lifts Issue - To receive an update from King Edward Court via Paul Roach (Town Manager, RBWM)
- Town Centre Pavements etc. - To respond to question submitted by Mr G Williams.
Town Centre pavements (1) Water drainage channels High Street have not be lifted/cleared since repaving, some are blocked by temporary black asphalt repairs; wet pavement and winter freezing - pedestrians falling implications. (2) Sheet Street and town generally; pavements/footways construction specifications do not allow to bearing vehicle weight (except where access driveways pass through). Sheet Street North pavement is now disturbed/dangerous because of frequent use by delivery vehicles. OTHER LOCAL PAVEMENTS are also likely to be damaged by apparent encouragement of part on-pavement car parking. Implications for adequate specifications and ACCESS by wheelchair and buggy users. I suggest that RBWM considers designated and marked accessible pavement routes to Town Centre hub on which Wardens give high priority to keeping footways and dropped kerbs clear 24/7. There is also need to note that extending resident parking bays restricts spaces on roadways where BLUE BADGE holders may legitimately park for <3 hours (Blue Badges may NOT be used in lieu of resident badge/payment on parking bays).
- Car Parking, including Visitor Parking - Update -To receive an update on Car Parking, including Visitor Parking from David Scott (Head of Community Services, RBWM).
