5. PUBLIC QUESTIONS
Mr Jacoby of Lock Sound, Maidenhead will ask the following qestion of Councillor Rayner, the Lead Member for Highways, Transport and Environment:
"Why has the Council not respected its legal duty to be a good neighbour and consulted with the residents of Lock Avenue, BEFORE deciding to introduce parking charges at the Free Car Park at Boulters Lock, so that it is behaving in a way as to blatantly disrgarded the impact on the residents of Lock Avenue and has made no efforts to minimise or offset the nuisance that will be caused to them, by cars and vehicles, who would normally use the FREE Boulters Lock Car Park and will now elect to park, still for free, in the adjacent Lock Avenue to avoid paying for car parking and where Lock Avenue is a narrow cul-de-sac and unlike Derek Road or Francis Road, it does not have double yellow lines for 50% of its length, to encourage parking in the official car park area?"

12. MOTIONS ON NOTICE
To consider the following Motions submitted under Rule A12:-
i) by Councillor Holness:
"This Council agrees with the Royal British Legion 'Honour the Covenant' campaign. It requests the Chief Executive to write to the Secretary of State for Defence showing the support of the borough for this campaign."
ii) by Councillor Mrs Yong:
"That This Council notes the current consultation looking at the future functions of Heatherwood Hospital; further notes that a downgrade to both maternity and mental health services are under consideration; believes that any downgrade to these services would detrimentally affect our community; mandates the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to oppose these plans; and requests the Leader of the Council to express this opposition by writing to Berkshire East Primary Care Trust and the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust."
iii) by Councillor Adams:
"The Council resolves to continue to actively support the 2M Group of local authorities in resisting the unsustainable expansion of Heathrow Airport."
iv) by Councillor Majeed:
"That this Council notes the 'Right Care, Right Time' consultation document produced by East Berkshire Primary Care Trust, further notes the 'Who Cares Wins' campaign by Theresa May MP and the Maidenhead Advertiser; believes that minor injury provision at Heatherwood and Wexham Park are too far away for residents; and resolves to support the campaign for a minor injuries unit at St Marks; and requests the Leader of the Council to formally respoond to the PCT consultation stating this view."
