Sports Hall & Courts

The Sports Hall is 10 badminton courts in size and is suitable for many sports and activities. It has played host to a variety of international, national and local sports tournaments as well as acting as home for many local sports clubs.

How to book a court:

If you have an Advantage Card it is possible to book a court 7 days in advance. Simply ring our booking number from 9am onwards 01628 685333/685335 and have your Advantage Card number ready. If you are not an Advantage Card holder you are able to book a court on the day of play. For prices, please refer to the Price List webpage.

Sports Hall:

5-a-side football, Badminton, Trampolining, Volleyball, Basketball, Short Tennis, Netball and Table Tennis are played in the hall.

Roller skating

... is held most Saturdays from September to June with age appropriate sessions.

Squash Courts

Four squash courts, bookable 7 days in advance (with an advantage card). Sessions run for 40 minutes 7am-11pm Monday-Friday, 9am-10pm at weekends.

There is a popular squash league which runs on a monthly basis. To join the league, please visit http://www.squashleagues.net/ and click on the Join link. Alternatively, please send an email to info@squashleagues.net requesting joining details.

Outdoor Courts:

Across the road at Kidwells Park is the outdoor floodlit netball, tennis and football courts which are part of the Magnet Leisure Centre. Open all year for bookings.

Astroturf Pitches - Braywick Sports Ground

Braywick has two 5-a-side pitches and one full size Astroturf pitch (which can be divided into two 5-a-side pitches), currently used by Hockey and Football leagues and available for casual bookings.

Venue Hire

The Pearce Suite (multi-purpose hall with four badminton courts, which also accommodates the leisure centre's martial arts programme) and Main Hall are available for functions including weddings, parties, conferences and exhibitions.

Studios

A variety of aerobic and fitness classes run from here.
